Our regulatory status
Torque Cars is a trading name of [Torque Cars legal entity name TBC] ("Torque Cars"), which is an Appointed Representative of [AU Finance legal entity name TBC] ("AU Finance"). AU Finance is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority under firm reference number [FCA reference number TBC]. You can check this on the Financial Services Register at register.fca.org.uk.
What this means
Torque Cars is a credit broker, not a lender. We do not lend you money ourselves - we introduce you to lenders on AU Finance's panel who may be able to offer you finance. We are permitted to carry out credit broking activities as an Appointed Representative of AU Finance.
Commission
We may receive commission from a lender if you take out finance with them following our introduction. The amount of commission may vary between lenders and products, and the way it's calculated may sometimes influence which lenders we offer to you. The amount of commission payable on your agreement is available on request.
